ALEJANDRO "ALEX" VERA concentrates his practice in estate and trust administration, estate planning, probate litigation, including accounting, guardianship and kinship proceedings, as well as contested probate and administration proceedings in Surrogate’s Courts throughout New York City, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and Miami-Dade county in Florida.
Mr. Vera received his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law (2010), where he was a member of the law school’s inaugural immigration defense clinic, and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York Law School (2017). Mr. Vera is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. Before law school, Mr. Vera served in the United States Marine Corps and is currently serving as a reservist in the 4th Marine Air Wing. Mr. Vera is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, including in the NYSBA’s Estate and Trust Administration Law Section. He is currently assisting with various projects including proposed legislation related to charitable organizations.
